Some of the educational methods used (traditional - non-traditional) in the Environmental Architecture Engineering program can be summarized as follows:
Style
comments
Lectures
He received lectures in all courses of the program
exercises
Exercises are taught in all courses of the program
Factor
There are no specialized laboratories in the program, and there are recommendations to establish specialized laboratories to suit the nature of the needs of some courses (for example, computer laboratories - environmental studies laboratories - simulation and modeling laboratories - three-dimensional models laboratories)
Reports
Students are required to submit course reports in all academic years
Projects
There are design projects through which design skill is measured according to the needs of users and in harmony with environmental, economic, social and cultural factors and variables and through the perspective of the surrounding environment and at several levels (architectural - urban - construction). The project material is also taught to fourth year students with the students carrying out the necessary studies and using references. Available in the college library and field studies of project sites.
Scientific trips
The department supervises scientific trips and field visits for students
Workshops
Workshops are used to assist students, such as some workshops and the assistance of professors and specialized experts
Students are also informed about external workshops inside and outside Egypt, and the results of the workshops are presented to their colleagues through lectures and internal scientific meetings, which the program supervises the implementation of.
Research points
It is used in some program course projects and in some theoretical courses, such as architecture theory courses, project management, architectural construction, and executive designs.
